Swing Card Tutorial

Hello, today I thought I would share with you a tutorial on how I made these fun little swinging baby crib card!

Products Used
Boy Card

Girl Card

Non RRBF Product

This is really a simple little card but will leave you with a 'wow' when you have finished it!
So here is how I made it :

First you will need to die cut a spellbinders scalloped circle in green and a nesting circle in blue.  Also cut a sheet of green fusion paper to measure 5.75" and a blue piece to measure 5.5"

Glue the green paper and then blue paper onto a 6 x 6 card blank leaving a small 'glue gap' on the top of the card.

Using a circle cutter cut out a 5" circle in the front of the card.

Cut another two spellbinder circles in scrap paper.  Fold in quarters and then cut out as shown above.  These are your templates!

Place the templates on the glittered circles and cut out each segment.

This is what you should be left with but don't glue it together at this point!

Thread a length of Country Cookin' twin through the top where you omitted glue earlier on.

Lay the green crib on the back and attach the twine as shown.  Add the blue one on top.

Trim off the blue lines from one of the greetings from the die cut pack

Add one blue line along with a trimmed white glittered shape with some stars and Fundamental arrows wood veneer.

Stamp the large phrase from the Fundamental Baby stamps and the '100% perfection' one on to white card.  Mat on to green paper.

Add the large phrase to the back of the card and the '100% perfection' on to the crib.  Finish by adding the greeting cut earlier across the bottom of the circle.

When it is all dried you can stand it up and watch the little crib swing!
These look fabulous in other colours and with other embellishments too.  You can see the little girls one I made in the picture above but neutral colours would look fantastic as well!

Hope you enjoyed the little tutorial
